Beef Ragu is an old favourite, one that you know everyone is going to enjoy. I hope you'll try the others in the range too - our panel of tasters all surprised their parents with what they enjoyed. Often it was dishes like the Kedgeree or the Paella that they loved, which all the mothers said they wouldn't have thought about making for their family.
I'd love to hear what you think, email me or I'm on Twitter or Facebook.
Beef Ragu
Everyone loves their mum's bolognese sauce but I know you don't always have time to cook, so I hope you'll think ours is just as good. Stuffed full of veggies and slow cooked to a lovely rich sauce, and served with wholemeal fusilli for an extra boost of fibre! Click here to find out more...
Chicken & Prawn Paella
A really tasty moreish paella, cooked with just a little chorizo and paprika to give it a little smokiness and warmth. The children just love this one and request it regularly. Click here to find out more...
Chicken & Pesto Pasta
A light creamy fresh tasting pasta dish (yes, that large looking rice is actually Orzo pasta), lots of hidden green veggies and a hint of pesto to turn this is into a frequently requested favourite. Click here to find out more...
Fish Kedgeree
There is something about the hint of curry with the basmati rice that makes this a very moreish dish. A great way to get your children to eat fish and the peas add a lovely vibrant colour if you want to add a flourish yourself serve a soft poached egg on top and a squirt of lemon juice - deeeelicious!
Lentil Bolognese
A delicious slow cooked bolognese with loads of veggies and puy lentils. Served with a light herby basmati rice - even if you're not a vegetarian this makes a really lovely light ragu and something a bit different.
We are working on a couple of other dishes for you, if you have a family favourite that you'd like to share then please send it in to hello@juniorspantry.co.uk
